Each soft vaginal capsule contains:
- Metronidazole ……………… 400 mg.
- Miconazole Nitrate ……… 100 mg.
- Neomycin Sulphate …………. 45 mg.
- Gotu-Kola ……………………. 15 mg.
- Polymyxin Sulphate ………. 5 mg.
Mixegyn contains a combination of active ingredients with anti-fungal and anti-infective action for the treatment of gynecological conditions.
Mixegyn also contains Gotu kola with a restoring and regenerating effect on the vaginal epithelium.
- Local treatment of vulvovaginal mycositis, trichomonas and non-specific vaginitis;
- Treatment of superinfection caused by neomycin- or polymyxin-susceptible bacteria when suspected.
The recommended dose is 1 or 2 capsules per day for 7-10 days.
In case of Trichomonas, it is recommended to use together with oral therapy.
It is not allowed to repeat the treatment more than 2-3 times a year.
Insert the vaginal soft capsule deep into the vagina at night
Overdose
There is no risk of overdose when using the product vaginally in the indicated doses.
Increased sensitivity to any component of the drug.
A small number of patients may experience vaginal burning or itching
The use of Mixegyn does not prevent the development of sexually transmitted diseases.
Stored at a temperature of no more than 25ºC, in a dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children.
