GLIATON FORTE

GLIATON FORTE CAP #20

Annotation

Composition:

One capsule contains:

Choline alfoscerate ………………….. 400 mg.

Pantothenic acid ……………………… 20 mg.

Pharmacological Properties:

A group of central cholinomimetics that affect the CNS. The composition of the drug includes metabolically protected choline. Metabolic protection ensures the release of choline in the brain. It has been established that Gliaton Forte exerts a significant positive effect on memory functions and abilities, as well as on emotional state and activity indicators, which were worsened by the development of involutional pathology of the brain.

 The mechanism of action is based on the following: after entering the body, choline alfoscerate is broken down by enzymes into choline and glycerophosphate: choline participates in the biosynthesis of acetylcholine (AX) – one of the main mediators of nervous excitement;

Glycerophosphate is a precursor of phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine) in the neuronal membrane. Thus, gliatilin improves the transmission of nerve impulses in cholinergic neurons, has a positive effect on the plasticity of neuronal membranes and the function of receptors. Gliaton Forte improves cerebral blood circulation, enhances metabolic processes in the brain, activates the reticular formation of the brain and restores consciousness in traumatic brain injury.

Indications:

  • Traumatic brain injury;
  • Dyscirculatory encephalopathy;
  • Psychomotor retardation in children with speech disorders
  • Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease;

 50-100 mg/kg/day in children.

Contraindication:

An individual hypersensitivity to the drug has been established.

Side effects:

as a rule, the drug is characterized by good tolerance even with long-term use. Rarely nausea (result of stimulation of dopaminergic receptors), allergic reactions.
