Annotation

Composition:

  • Rabeprazol 40mg

Pharmacological properties:

Parizon is a drug against stomach and duodenal ulcers. By inhibiting the proton pump (H+-K+-ATPase), the drug inhibits the final stage of hydrochloric acid synthesis.

Indications:

  • Ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum;
  • Gastroesophageal reflux, erosive esophagitis;
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions with pathological hypersecretion;
  • Treatment and prevention of recurrence of H. pylori-induced ulcer disease.

Dosage::

Parizon is taken once a day in a dose of 20 mg, in the morning, on an empty stomach, followed by a small amount of water.

  • Ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum;
  • Gastroesophageal reflux, erosive esophagitis;
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions with pathological hypersecretion;
  • Treatment and prevention of recurrence of H. pylori-induced ulcer disease.

Ulcerative disease of the stomach and duodenum and after surgical anastomoses:

The daily dose of Parison is 20 mg, the duration of treatment is 4-8 weeks. In the absence of clinical effect, it is possible to continue the treatment for another 8 weeks.

During prolonged treatment of gastroesophageal reflux, the maintenance dose of the drug is determined by the individual characteristics of the body – 10 mg or 20 mg, and the duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician. During the treatment of moderate and severe gastro-oesophageal reflux, 10 mg is prescribed once. Treatment course – 4 weeks.

Zollinger-Ellison syndrome:

The recommended individual dose of Parison is 60 mg. The duration of treatment depends on the clinical condition. In some patients, the daily dose is prescribed in two doses.

For the eradication of Helicobacter Pylori, it is prescribed in a complex with two antibiotics (amoxicillin and clarithromycin), the duration of treatment is 7 days.

Contraindication:

Increased sensitivity to any component of the drug.

Side effects:

According to clinical studies, Parisjon is easily tolerated. Side effects are insignificant and transient.

Pregnancy and lactation:

It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and lactation, as there is no experience of using the drug in clinical practice.

Warning:

Before starting treatment with Parijon, it is necessary to exclude the presence of malignant tumors of the stomach, because during the use of the drug, symptoms may be masked and the correct diagnosis of the tumor may be delayed. Patients with impaired liver and kidney function do not require dose correction, however, care should be taken when selecting the initial dose of the drug in case of severe impaired liver function.

Storage method:

Stored at a temperature of no more than 25ºC, in a dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children.
