Brimol 0.2%
Composition: brimonidine tartrate
Brimol 0.2% is used to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma and ocular hypertension (increased intraocular pressure). It can be used both alone and in combination with other eye drops that reduce intraocular pressure.
The recommended dose is:

The exact dosage and duration of treatment is always determined by the doctor. It is recommended to use 1 drop twice a day with an interval of 12 hours. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise. If Brimol 0.2% is used with other eye drops, use them 5-15 minutes apart.
Do not use Brimol 0.2%
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to brimonidine tartrate or any other component of the drug (listed in section 6)
- If you use medications for depression (monoamine oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants). Tell your doctor about the use of antidepressants.
- The drug is not prescribed to children under 18 years of age, adolescents and nursing mothers.
- Eye irritation (eye redness, burning, tingling sensation, foreign body sensation, itching and possible formation of nodules and white spots on the conjunctiva)
- Blurred vision
- Allergic reaction in the eye
- Local irritation (inflammation and swelling of the eyelid, swelling of the conjunctiva, involuntary closing of the eyes, pain and tearing)
- Increased sensitivity to light
- Erosion of the eye surface and formation of spots
- Sensation of dry eyes
- Clouding of the conjunctiva
- Pathological vision
- Inflammation of the conjunctiva
- Eye inflammation
- Constriction of the pupils of the eye
- Eyelid itching
Very frequent
- Headache
- Dry mouth
- Fatigue, drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Cold-like symptoms
- Unusual tastes
- General weakness
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Brimol 0.2%:
- If you suffer or have suffered from depression, limited mental capacity, reduced blood supply to the brain, heart problems, disorders of the blood supply to the extremities or blood pressure
- If you have had or have kidney or liver problems
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- If you drive or operate machinery, as Brimol 0.2% may cause drowsiness, blurred vision or other visual disturbances in some patients.
Store at a temperature no higher than 25°C, in a place protected from light and cold.
Store in the original package in order to protect from sunlight.
Do not use the medicine after the expiration date “EXP” indicated on the box.
